Authenticity of the Plantation Setting, Interactive Historic Experience, Family Pride in Heritage

The shared bathroom facilities create inconvenience for guests!!! Musty room conditions detract from the overall experience, making it feel less fresh!!! General maintenance issues really need some attention to enhance guest satisfaction!!!

    historic, historic, historic

Staying at this charming historic bed and breakfast was an unforgettable experience! The exquisite patchwork bedspread made by a house slave added such deep cultural significance to the room. Enjoying dinner outdoors under the stars, complete with period costume service, truly immersed me in the Southern heritage I was longing for!

    unique historical experience
    shared bathroom facilities

We truly enjoyed the unique historical experience offered, including the guided house tours that provided fascinating insights into the plantation's past. The outdoor sitting arrangement allowed us to relax and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. The culinary customization with delicious dinner options was a delightful treat, making our stay even more enjoyable.

However, we faced some challenges with the shared bathroom facilities, which could be inconvenient for guests with mobility issues.

    dirty bathroom
    maintenance issues
    unpleasant smell

The breakfast offerings were enjoyable, highlighting local flavors, and the hospitality from the hosts was commendable. However, the overall cleanliness of the property was severely lacking, with cobwebs and visible dust throughout. The bathroom conditions were particularly disappointing. a dirty toilet and stained bath tub created an uncomfortable experience. Numerous maintenance issues were evident, from peeling paint to poorly maintained furniture, suggesting that the property has been neglected.
